Duties:

  • Structure & methodology: improve training process by applying efficient training methodologies and tools, training curricula & program structures
  • Operation: manage all training centers operational activities including staffing, facilities, and coordination with all stakeholders
  • Business planning: identify and assess future and current training needs of WA BUs, prepare and manage training budgets
  • Design training plans: build training agendas based on blended training approach
  • Skills & competency: develop training programs based on front line & professional employees assessments
  • Project Management: coordinate building and construction of Training center based in Guinea; ensure developing training manuals by experts; ensures that project goals are met and adhering to approved plan and budget
  • Efficiency: deploy a most efficient training methods applicable for WA BUs, continuous improvement of training efficiency, monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness
  • Educational institutions: collaborate with regional educational institutions, set a strong professional network in BF, Guinea
  • Stakeholders: set close relations with business partners in order to provide timely support and services
Profil recherché pour le poste : Regional Training Manager (West Africa)
  • Bachelor degree in education, human resources or relevant field
  • 5 years of work experience as a training manager in African countries (gold mines preferable)
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task and manage multiple issues effectively
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, classroom trainings, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc)
  • Excellent communication, customer service and leadership skills
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals & good computer and database skills
  • Experience in designing (preferable) and executing successful training programs
  • Language: French (native), English (upper intermediate)
  • Working in international environment
